A memorial has been constructed beside the Meherpur municipal cemetery for the memory of those freedom fighters and those who were brutally killed by the Pak army soldiers in 1971. They are commemorated and honored each year on the occasion of the great Independence and Victory Day.

Besides, a memorial has been erected at Shaheed Shamsjoha Park in the heart of Meherpur district, where the tributes are remembered in memory of the martyrs on different days of the year. Besides, in 1971, there is a memorabilia written by Shahid Bir freedom fighters during the great liberation war in district Parishad Meherpur and a mass graveyard at the office of the Deputy Commissioner's Office in Meherpur.
